Employee Self-Service Portal

Employee Self-Service Portal in ADManager plus is a powerful web based tool that enables the end users to update/modify their own account attributes as delegated by the administrator, by default users can update their contact information like telephone number, address, location etc in Active directory. This feature attracts more importance as the organizations undergo a paradigm shift to medium or large size, where it becomes difficult for Help desk technicians to manage the bulk domain user accounts. Empowering users to self manage their accounts eliminates administrators intervention saving many man-hours that worth thousands of dollars and ensures that the information is current.

Give controlled access to users for updating their accounts: Help Desk Technicians or Administrators can authorize users to update their account properties besides having control on them i.e. users can be limited to update only specific information. Example: Administrators can allow a user to update his account attributes but can restrict him from changing his group properties.

Employee Search
ADManager Plus has a built-in portable Employee Search which eliminates the necessity for another third-party tool to search user information in Active Directory. Employee Search feature in ADManager Plus allows users to get to know the details of their colleagues and other users. Advanced Search will help user refine their search by email address, telephone, City, etc. To access Employee Search a user does not need a login ID or need to login into the ADManager Plus web console.


Customize Employee Search to your needs: Administrators can customize employee search to their organization's policy by restricting the search to a specific Organizational Unit(OU) or Domain, there by refining the search and keeping confidential information inaccessible.
